About

Can the discipline be built into the system, rather than remembered by a person?

Mizanook began as an effort to answer a simple question: can systematic investing be built so that financial discipline and investment principles are enforced by the system itself — rather than treated as an afterthought applied once a strategy is already running?

The work sits at the intersection of economics, computer science, quantitative research and responsible, values-based investing. Each discipline contributes something the others tend to neglect: economics asks whether an edge should exist at all; computer science makes the rules deterministic and auditable; quantitative research insists on honest evidence; and values-based investing supplies the constraints the whole system must respect.

Mizanook is early and founder-led. It does not manage client assets, and it is not presented as a finished product. What exists today is a set of disciplined foundations — research, screening, construction, execution governance and auditing — being assembled deliberately rather than quickly.
