Foundations first
The current focus is the parts of the system that decide whether a trade should happen: point-in-time screening, portfolio construction under constraints, and fail-closed execution governance with a full audit trail.
Research discipline over results
Every systematic idea is specified in advance, tested out of sample and against realistic costs, and separated from production. A study that fails is recorded as a failure, not quietly retried until it passes.
